McMaster Palliative Medicine Interest Group : The Palliative Medicine Interest Group (PaMIG) is a group of McMaster medical students interested in increasing awareness of and interest in provision of palliative medicine, career and training opportunities and the ethical issues surrounding end-of-life care.
LEAP Fundamentals Modules: Pallium is a national, non-profit organization helping to build professional and community capacity to help improve the quality and accessibility of palliative care in Canada. Pallium has partnered with McMaster University to provide free access to 15 LEAP (Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative care) Fundamentals modules as part of a pilot through the McMaster Health Sciences Library. Each module takes 10-20 minutes to complete. These modules are integrated throughout Pre-Clerkship and Clerkship learning sessions in Palliative Care where pertinent.
